Juventus Turin is sticking to Alvaro Morata for the coming season. The loan deal with Atletico Madrid is extended.
After much hesitation, Italy’s dethroned series champions Juventus Turin decided to extend the loan from striker Alvaro Morata. According to information from Goal and SPOX the Bianconeri pay ten million euros to Morata’s home club Atletico Madrid to extend the loan.
The new (and old) coach Massimiliano Allegri played a decisive role in the decision. The 53-year-old urged Morata, with whom he had already worked in the past, to continue working. Morata had already played under Allegri at Juventus between 2014 and 2016. In the past season, the 28-year-old, who is also part of Spain’s European Championship squad, was involved in 32 goals in 44 games.

Morata has had a true odyssey through Europe in recent years. The highlight was the summer of 2020, when Atletico Madrid first drew the option to buy him to sign him from Chelsea, only to then hand him over to Italy.
