It’s official, Álvaro Morata will stay at Juventus in Turin. The club just announced on Twitter the extension of the Spaniard’s loan for Italy, until June 2022.
Currently with his selection of Spain to play the Euro, Morata is fully focused on the competition but that did not prevent Juve and theAtlético de Madrid to reach an agreement to extend the loan of the Spanish striker.
Undesirable on the side of Atletico, especially since the arrival of Luis Suárez last season, Morata feels good at Juve and for good reason. He will dispute a fourth season under the colors’ bianconeri‘after a successful first stint between 2014 and 2016 and a fairly decent 2020-2021 season.
Indeed, Morata disputed 44 matches this season with Juve for 20 buts registered in all competitions, i.e. close to one goal every two matches. Statistics that were enough for Juve to axriver the extension of the loan of the Spanish international.
