Juventus does what it has to do at Salernitana, Serie A chase started

The Old Lady got off to an excellent start visiting Salernitana and looked for the attack from the first whistle. It created a number of opportunities, but initially the sights were not sharp. Halfway through the first half it was hit. Paulo Dybala combined with Dejan Kulusevski and then hit hard. Salernitana goalkeeper Vid Belec had no chance: 0-1.

Towards the end of the first half, Juventus slowed down a bit, without relinquishing control. Giorgio Chiellini thought to put his team at 0-2 before half-time, but his goal was rejected after interference by VAR.

After the break, Salernitana came into the game a little better and made a number of threats in the half of Juventus, but goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny kept his goal clean quite simply. Morata decided the game about twenty minutes before time. The Spanish striker tapped the ball very subtly between Belec’s legs for the second Juventus goal. Deep into stoppage time, Dybala had the chance to make his second from the spot, but he missed.

The win puts Juventus on 24 points from 15 games. It is 11 points behind leaders Napoli.
