Juventus are ready to say goodbye to veteran defender Leonardo Bonucci, who could be left out of the squad for the pre-season tour of the United States.
The 36-year-old Italian centre-back has entered the final year of his contract with the Bianconeri and the club have decided to start looking to the future, informing him that he will not start next campaign.
Bonucci has reportedly received various offers and proposals in recent weeks, including from Newcastle United, Sampdoria and various Saudi Pro League clubs.
Corriere dello Sport on Prolongation TMW points out that Bonucci might not join Juventus for their pre-season tour of the United States, but stay in Italy to secure a move to a new club.
The 36-year-old wants to take part in the European Championship next year so he’s not convinced by the idea of a move to Saudi Arabia or MLS, hoping to stay in Europe instead.
