With «Juventus» can take off their glasses again.
The Italian Football Federation (FIGC) continues to investigate the club’s fraud with the salaries of football players during the pandemic. According to Virgilio Sport, citing Corriere dello Sport, the federation’s chief prosecutor intends to demand that at least 20 points be removed from the Bianconeri.
The case was supposed to be closed on January 29, however, in connection with the discovery of new documents, the FIGC prosecutor’s office asked to extend the investigation period for another 40 days. The verdict is to be announced in March.
It is noted that the investigation after the deadline may become one of the defense arguments for Juve.
Recall that earlier Juventus had already been deducted 15 points for financial fraud. Turin are currently in 13th place in Serie A with 23 points.
