Juventus considers signing Gabriel Jesús, even if Cristiano Ronaldo stays in the team

The 24-year-old Brazilian striker Gabriel Jesús is Juventus’ main target, although Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to stay one more year in the city of Turin.

Current Manchester City player Jesús leads a roster of Juventus reinforcements that includes Moise Kean (Everton), Mauro Icardi (PSG), Dusan Vlahovic (Fiorentina) and Andrea Belotti (Torino).

According to the Italian website ‘Tuttosport’, Juve officials met over the weekend to confirm their main interest in the 24-year-old Brazilian star, Jesús, and the young Kean, 21.

The ‘Vecchia Signora’ has long followed Jesus, who often failed to maintain a regular spot with reigning Premier League champions Manchester City. And Kean shone on loan from PSG last season after never reaching his best in the Premier League.

Juventus is not sure of the future of Ronaldo

Manchester United and PSG have been linked to Cristiano Ronaldo, while Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has publicly admitted that he remains a huge fan of the 36-year-old.

However, it seems that the former English Manchester United and Spanish Real Madrid star is happy to stay one more season in the city of Turin defending the colors of Juventus.

The Italian giants initially seemed willing to ditch the Portuguese legend for around 50 million euros. But, now it is said that Ronaldo will extend his contract with ‘Juve’ for 12 months.

And it was also reported that Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent, Jorge Mendes, is in Turin to discuss the icon’s future with ‘Juve’.
