Jakarta –
Tottenham Hotspur immediately get two players from Juventus. Tottenham director of football Fabio Paratici re-recruit the players he once hooked up with.
Fabio Paratici took advantage of his connection with Juventus to strengthen Antonio Conte’s Tottenham. Tottenham are currently working on the transfers of Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur from Juventus.
Kulusevski had already left Turin and had flown to London for a medical. The Swedish winger will join Tottenham on an 18-month loan.
Meanwhile, Bentancur’s medical test is still complicated because the player is currently strengthening the Uruguay national team. Tottenham have reportedly agreed on a permanent transfer of Bentancur worth 19 million euros.
Kulusevski and Bentancur are players Paratici previously brought to Turin. As is known, prior to Tottenham, Paratici served as Juventus Technical Director for 11 years.
This kind of transfer is not the first for Paratici. Last summer, Tottenham signed Cristian Romero from Atalanta.
Romero is a player who Paratici brought from Genoa while still at Juventus in July 2019. However, Romero was immediately loaned to Atalanta.
Tottenham were also reportedly interested in Weston McKennie and Paulo Dybala, two players who were also Paratici’s signings at Juventus. Paratici is expected to continue to move in the Italian market in the transfer market next summer.
