Juventus Coach Allegri Confirms Moise Kean’s Injury: Out for 3-4 Weeks

Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri has confirmed that Moise Kean will be out for a few weeks with a shin problem.

The 23-year-old Italian striker has featured regularly in Turin this season, playing 472 minutes of action in 12 appearances. Despite not directly contributing to a goal, Allegri is happy with the centre-forward’s work over the past few months. Juventus are still two points behind league leaders Inter and will be hoping to close the gap in the coming weeks, aware that their lack of European competition could prove to be a key advantage in the second half of the season . As confirmed during Allegri’s press conference today, Kean will be out for three to four weeks due to a shin problem, which he has been carefully managing with Juventus’ medical department in recent weeks. If the 23-year-old were to stay out for a month, he would miss the Bianconeri’s upcoming matches against Genoa, Frosinone, Roma, Salernitana and Sassuolo. He could return for the clash with Lecce on January 21.
