Turin –
Bomber Paris St. Germain Mauro Icardi could have returned to Italy. Juventus Reportedly want to bring Icardi for the 2021/2022 season.
Icardi has just finished his second season with PSG since being signed from Inter Milan in the summer of 2018. The Argentine centre-forward was initially on loan before being made permanent in a deal worth €70 million.
However, Icardi had a dim last season after being plagued by injuries and being infected with the corona virus. As a result Icardi only made 13 goals and six assists in 28 appearances in all competitions.
However, the return of Massimiliano Allegri to the coach Juventus sparking rumors Mauro Icardi. Football-Italia who quotes Footmercato said Allegri had even spoken to Icardi’s representatives over the last few days and expressed his interest in coaching the player.
Icardi’s agent and wife, Wanda Nara, seemed to imply support for her husband to cross to Turin. Wanda posted a photo on social media, which showed her wearing a top with white-and-black stripes like the oversized Juventus jersey.
“I toast to myself, to what’s to come this year and to you,” Wanda wrote in the caption.
However, there is one thing that could hinder Juventus’ attempts to land Mauro Icardi. In Icardi’s contract there is a clause that requires PSG to pay Inter 15 million euros (Rp 256.7 billion) if he sells Icardi to another Serie A club.
Juventus itself is not a shortage of players in the attacking position. Bianconeri have Cristiano Ronaldo and Alvaro Morata, as well as Paulo Dybala.
