Juventus and Sassuolo continue talks with Locatelli on the phone

Juventus have reportedly contacted Sassuolo about negotiations with Manuel Locatelli today and the two sides are getting closer to set up a meeting to sign a deal.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the two sides will speak on the phone today and if they come to an agreement the two clubs will meet to work out the details and sign the deal.

Locatelli at Juve: very close to an agreement

Locatelli’s transfer to Juventus was a long and complicated operation and the newspaper reveals that the Bianconeri and Neroverdi will continue talks by phone today.

The general agreement on the transfer fee was not enough, the two sides must now overcome the obstacle of the formula.

The Bianconeri have shortened the link with the conditional purchase requirement, which the report says is linked to the Champions League and Juventus appearances.

Sassuolo would like an unconditional purchase obligation or an easy target that will be hit almost immediately.

The Reggio-Emilia club wants to close the annual budget with an outright sale and that is why there is no appointment scheduled for the next meeting.

Juventus expect to reach a deal over the phone and focus on getting the deal done before meeting with Nerorverdi to sign the deal.
