The Juventus-Roma match played out like a chess game where the defenses dominated and the lack of intensity led to a 0-0 draw.
The central defenders neutralised the attackers and the midfielders did not circulate the ball quickly enough, so a goalless draw between Juventus and Roma in Turin was a natural consequence.
Daniele De Rossi initially benched Paulo Dybala, choosing Matias Soulé in attack and Niccolò Pisilli in midfield. Soulé (5) did not show his full potential in front of his former fans. Not enough dribbling, no deep passes and no shots on target. Seeing Dybala replace him in the second half was no surprise.
Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic (5.5) was equally disappointing, but at least he had a shot on target, saved by Mile Svilar in the first half.
The central defenders dominated the match, and it is no coincidence that the central defenders of Juventus and Roma had the best ratings: 7 for Federico Gatti, Gianluca Mancini and Evan N’dicka and 6.5 for Gleison Bremer.
The central midfielders had their ups and downs. Both Juventus and Roma moved the ball around quite slowly, and the result reflects the performances of both teams quite well.

Roma’s lowest score – Dovbyk 5 – Tough match for the Ukrainian international. He fought, but it wasn’t enough. It’s not entirely his fault, anyway.
Coach: Daniele De Rossi 6 – The changes worked well and Roma ended the game on a high note, trying to score a late goal. They are yet to win their first three games, but it was a promising performance.
