While he is still in France despite the resumption of individual training in Italy, the transalpine daily “La Stampa” explains on Tuesday that the former middle of PSG challenges the lower wages decreed in his club. After just over ten months, the story between Juventus Turin and Adrien Rabiot could have its first real hitch. In its edition of the day, La Stampa, the main newspaper in Turin and the fourth daily in Italy, reveals behind the scenes of what could quickly become “the Rabiot affair”. The midfielder would currently be engaged in a “personal strike“, and for a simple reason: he did not want to lower his annual salary by 8 million euros per year.
Still confined to the Côte d’Azur, which he joined in early April, the former midfielder did not answer the first call from his club, which recently invited all its players abroad to return in Turin. There are two reasons for this: to participate in individual training, which is authorized but nonetheless optional, and to carry out the fourteen quarantine days necessary for all those who return to Italian soil, in anticipation of the resumption of collective sessions on May 18.

With 24 matches played (out of 37) this season, the Duke would not be satisfied with his situation. According to the daily, Carlo Ancelotti, his former coach at PSG, would like to recruit him on the side of Everton. For its part, Juve would have set its price around 20-25 million euros. Between Rabiot and the Old Lady, the story is therefore (perhaps) already over. And not really in the best way.
