If you want, let’s talk about “also” the success of Pirlo’s Juventus at the Meazza. Which has certified as the heart of the Italian champions, still beats. And how Madama’s funeral had been prematurely celebrated. If you want, let’s talk about the super performance of Federico Chiesa, or the topics of Irrati (“best varista in the world” according to former referee Casarin) who would do better to stay on the monitor, given that on the field (and on both fronts) he has combined of each. If you want, let’s talk about the flying Texan, Fabio Paratici’s (winning) intuition. If you want, let’s talk about Ronaldo who got dry. But then we should also talk about the (zero) playable balls in the goal area that the midfield has delivered to him. If you want, let’s talk about the merits of Pioli’s Milan. If you want, let’s talk about Giroud, Milik, Llorente, Pellè (not Quagliarella who explained that he wanted to stay at Sampdoria), one of whom could soon land in Turin. If you want, let’s talk about Rovella, which will arrive under the Mole in a year, or Scamacca which could arrive in June. And if you really want to, let’s also talk about Gosens (today probably the best left-handed low winger on the planet) that I would book instead of Juventus in view of June. If you want, let’s also talk about Juve’s comeback possibilities: I still don’t believe in them. For a statistical fact: Juve are currently fourth. It is true that he has one less race. It is true that he won against a team that came from 27 consecutive useful results. It is true that there are still many games to go until the end of the tournament. But it is also true that in front of him he has three: the first seven points away. The second six. Recovering from an opponent is possible. Out of three, definitely more complicated. And yet the victory in Milan is worth more than three points. It can become a message to the rest of the caravan. A worm to undermine the certainties of rivals: Juve is the one asphalted at home by Fiorentina or the one that wins at the Meazza, with a half-serve Dybala, without Morata and without the usual bonus – Ronaldo’s goal?
If you want, let’s just talk about this. Let me know.
I say what I think about the reasons produced by the Coni College of Guarantee after the decision (on the Naples appeal) issued last December 22nd. The college explains that on the part of Napoli, no bad faith was recognized in the affair. Indeed: to have observed a behavior of “full coherence with the provisions of the (health) regulations in force”. Everything revolves around two Latin words: Factum principis.
Put on your belt: the rest is difficult.
“To be recognized – explains the Coni College of Guarantee – NOT in the note of the Asl Napoli 2 of 4 October 2020, BUT in the two notes of the Asl Napoli 1 of 3 October 2020, the dynamics that induced Napoli not to leave for Turin”. For the College, there were no responsibilities of Napoli in the affair.
So the appeal judge Sandulli, writing about Napoli’s “preordained fraud”, must have been hit half an hour earlier by a meteorite. Will Gravina put him at the door? He will not do so he defined them, the judges of the Prosecutor’s Office, “good and professional”. But Gravina, therefore, “gave himself up”. Precluding the Federation from being able to appeal. Some believe that Gravina saw as a dangerous vulnus the possibility that De Laurentiis ultimately resorted to the Tar, and therefore to an extra-sporting forum as Gaucci did in his time. I do not know. But I have a hard time thinking that Gravina did it to remain “super partes”.
Coni has disgraced the work of two judges of the Prosecutor’s Office. I am not scandalized by the work of Napoli: he did what was in his right-interest. But I can not “drink” the latest version of the story conveyed by Naples. And that is the “context” in which the story had matured at the time. Those numerous infected with Genoa went (potential infector) to play in Naples.
Clarified? No. Because now, after the reasons of the Coni, for consistency the Federation should change the protocol that the same Federation, League and Government have signed. Because if it is true that so far only the ASL Napoli 1 has proved to be a “princess on the pea”, it is also true that (according to Coni) the opinion of the health facility is binding with respect to the sports one, there are no guarantees that from now to the end of the championship all the ASL will behave like those of Turin and Milan and not like that of Naples.
I’m afraid Gravina is missing some things. The first: that there was a (profound) division between one club and the other 19 in Serie A. The second: that the Federal Prosecutor abandoned by him, after being massacred by Coni, has lost credibility. How will it be possible to accept, from now on, a sanction, a verdict of the Public Prosecutor’s Office knowing that (in the opinion of Coni) that “preordained fraud” was an emeritus bullshit? Dolo is a heavy word. And I don’t think Gravina’s vocabulary differs from mine. If there was no “malice”, Napoli have the sacrosanct right to be furious. And maybe to ask for damages for the disfigurement perpetrated on their integrity. The third is ethical. Personally I have always wanted to see that match playing: I don’t like the results at the table, but the idea that the “case” of Napoli is considered a unicum (tolerated) under the banner of “scurdammoce o ‘past“ is inadmissible.
Was Napoli in good faith? Verified by Coni. But if the protocol remains unchanged, the taking for a ride is total. Should football be saved? Of course. To save him, do we pretend that nothing has happened? The precedent signed by Coni makes jurisprudence, someone had forgotten it. Fall into a kind of Keller story: “Those who fly are crazy. Those who are mad can be exempted from flying missions. Those who ask to be exempted from the missions are not crazy: Paragraph 22 “.
They “did”. Did they promise not to do it “chiù”, in case of a similar situation? Nobody knows. Now? Will it recover in February by reversing the calendar? Will the “failure” Juventus – Napoli be played first instead of the planned Napoli – Juventus which could be moved to May? Other requests ? I’m polite: I don’t go into detail.
Question: but has the Federal Prosecutor’s Office closed the investigation on the pads of Lazio or not? And speaking of the Federal Prosecutor’s Office: how are the investigations on the Suarez case proceeding? Cemetery silence.
They will let us know a couple of days before the end of the championship: maybe with disqualifications and penalty points? Capable.
And since we are on the subject of investigations, is the Federation interested in understanding who the owners of the football clubs are? On the front page “Il Giornale” asked questions about Inter’s ownership. The newspaper directed by Alessandro Sallusti explains that Suning relied on Ali Baba, a colossus whose founder, Jack Ma, a critic of the regime, has long since “disappeared”. According to Gian Micalessin, who signs the fund, “Inter’s control package ended up in the hands of a subsidiary of Ali Baba“. And since Jack Ma has disappeared (disappearing in China is not a symptom of confidentiality), Micalessin hypothesizes that “Ali Baba has ended up under the wing of the State – Party and is used to impose the noose on the activities of Jindong Zhang (aka Suning) “. Translated: the owner of Inter could become the Chinese state. I omit the economic, political and social considerations that Micalessin poses. Does the Federation not think that these (and other) issues need to be clarified? Because even the Campania managers Cerchione and D’Avanzo co-owners (with Singer) of Milan, Rai 3 (“Report“ broadcast) just couldn’t find them. Gone too.
Two words for the readers: I am aware that I have written a huge article that should never be written on the web. And so I won’t want you if you don’t reward me this week (as you usually do) with readings. But I consider what I wrote (good or bad I did) a professional duty. Doing it in 2000 bars would have been impossible.
