Juve came at Udinese on Sunday despite a 2-0 break lead only to a 2-2. Paolo Dybala (3rd) and Juan Cuadrado had put the favorites in the lead away from home. Roberto Pereyra (51st) and Gerard Deulofeu (83rd) equalized. A goal from Juve star Cristiano Ronaldo in the 94th minute was denied after studying video because of offside.
The Austrian Marko Arnautovic made a successful debut for Bologna. In the 3-2 home win, Arnautovic scored the interim goal to make it 2-2. There were three yellow-red cards in the game.
On Sunday evening the Roma (3-1 against Fiorentina) and Napoli (2-0 against Venezia) were also able to look forward to opening wins. Fiorentina goalie
Bartlomiej Dragowski flew off the field after just 17 minutes due to an emergency brake. It was a red card Sunday anyway. Roma’s Nicolo Zaniolo also received yellow-red later (52nd). There was also a red card in the game between Napoli and Venezia – Victor Osimhen saw the traffic light card after 23 minutes. So there were 6 red or yellow-red cards in a total of 4 games on Sunday.
The 1st matchday will be concluded on Monday with the games Cagliari-Spezia (6.30 p.m.) and Sampdoria-Milan (8.45 p.m.). Inter had already celebrated a sovereign 4-0 victory on Saturday.
