It was rumored that the 10th and 12th Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Jusuf Kalla (JK), would be included in the National Winning Team (TPN) Ganjar Pranowo. However, JK has denied this.
Secretary General of PDIP, Hasto Kristiyanto appreciates JK’s attitude. He said that someone joining TPN was a form of volunteerism.
“Yes, joining (TPN) is the same as joining a political party. In TPN the principle of volunteerism,” said Hasto after a meeting with TPN Reward at the High End building, Menteng, Central Jakarta, (11/10/2023).
Previously, JK opened his voice regarding the issue of signals that he would join TPN Ganjar Pranowo. He emphasized that he would not be involved in the winning team of the presidential candidate (capres).
“No “That’s possible,” said Jusuf Kalla to journalists at PMI Headquarters, Gatot Subroto, South Jakarta, Tuesday (10/10).
JK admitted that he only wanted to participate to maintain the integrity of Indonesia so that there would be no divisions. He also revealed that he often held joint discussions with the team of other presidential candidates, namely Prabowo Subianto and Anies Baswedan.
“Personally, I often answer that I am in a position not to participate directly. To maintain how this country is intact. How politics does not divide the nation,” he said.
“Why am I talking about that, both Anies, Puan, Prabowo. I even discussed Prabowo with his team for longer,” he added.
