Justin Timberlakealthough absent from the music scene since the album “Man of the Woods” has participated in several projects over the last 6 years. He notably collaborated with the producer Timbaland for the return of Nelly Furtado with the single “Keep Going Up“, he reformed the group *NSYNC with whom he recorded an unpublished title entitled “Better Place“for the film’s soundtrack”The Trolls 3“.

This period of silence still attracted the attention of certain media who looked into the singer’s personal life. Revelations of Britney Spears emerged, claiming she had been pregnant by Justin in the early 2000s and had an abortion at his request. These revelations triggered the anger of the 42-year-old singer and would have had an impact on his return initially planned for the end of 2023.

Despite these challenges, Justin Timberlake continued to tease his new album and Timbaland revealed last April that the album was in the finalization phase, promising a “danceable” record considered a sequel to “FutureSex / LoveSounds” released in 2006.

This return, highly anticipated by his fans, will materialize this week through a new single co-written by Justin Timberlake.

Titled “Selfish“, this single has just been published partly via a teaser. As for the album, its name has been revealed, it will be called “Everything I Thought It Was“, which suggests an imminent release.

Despite personal obstacles, Justin Timberlake’s comeback is well and truly underway.

Here is a short extract from Justin Timberlake’s new single which is released this Thursday, January 25.
