The 23-year-old surpassed the 1,632-yard mark set by Randy Moss in 2003 when he caught a 25-yard pass in the first quarter of his 27-24 victory over the New York Giants.

Jefferson finished the duel with 12 catches for 133 yards and a touchdown. In 15 games so far in 2022, the star player has moved for 1,765 yards.

He comes close to the NFL record of 1,964 rushing yards in a campaign. It was former Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson who pulled off the feat in 2012.

Jefferson still has two games to set a new milestone, facing the Green Bay Packers (January 1) and the Chicago Bears (January 8).

The LSU Tigers product was a first-round pick (22nd overall) by the Vikings in the 2020 draft. In nearly three seasons at Goodell Homer, Jefferson got his hands on 319 fly balls for 4,772 yards and 25 touchdowns.
