Justin Hubner definitely has the same vision as Shin Tae-yong

Candidates for naturalization of the Indonesian national team Justin Hubner definitely in line with Shin Tae-yong. He said he has the same mentality as the Korean manager.

Justin Hubner currently in Indonesia with another young player, namely Ivar Jenner. Both also arrived at the PSSI office in Jakarta on Monday (24/10/2022).

The Dutchman will play under guardianship Shin Tae-yong in the Indonesian national team if the process to become an Indonesian citizen (WNI) is complete. Justin Hubner is confident that he will have no problem following Shin Tae-yong’s instructions.

“I’ve heard he likes players who are determined and want to win. I’m a winner, I always want to win in everything,” Justin Hubner told reporters.

He joined the project Shin Tae-yong strengthen Indonesia Under 20 national team in the 2023 Asian U-20 Cup and 2023 U-20 World Cup. As such, he is determined to have an impact on Garuda Muda.

“I want to play many games with the Indonesian national team. I know the World Cup (U-20) will come soon and I want us to play well there. I want to make the Indonesian people proud,” he said.

He honestly admits that he doesn’t really understand the style of Indonesian football, including the national team. But he believes his experience of him in Europe could be a differentiator for Garuda.

Currently Justin Hubner registered as a Wolverhampton Wanderers U-21 player. The club he called did not stop him from strengthening Indonesian national.

“I didn’t watch because of the time difference. But I know that playing hard here is what I like because I also play aggressively. It’s okay for me,” said the 19-year-old player.

“The club supports me, you can see from them that they gave me permission to go to Indonesia, so it’s okay because they always support me,” he said.
