Justin Bieber has taken legal action against two women who have charged him with rape. The singer immediately denied and now demands a total of 20 million dollars (17.8 million euros) from the women.
The singer was accused of sexual abuse by a woman on social media in the last week of June. The woman, who called herself Danielle on Twitter, said she was raped by Bieber in a hotel in the Texas city of Austin in 2014.
The singer responded immediately by saying that he was not staying in the hotel in question and was on an Airbnb with his then girlfriend Selena Gomez. In court documents, in the hands of TMZ, he adds several papers related to the temporary lease.
The second woman wrote on social media that the singer allegedly abused her in New York in May 2015. Bieber also responded immediately, saying that the woman in question is a super fan and always waits outside hotels. However, he never met her, something the woman herself previously wrote on social media.
In the court documents it can be read that Bieber suspects that the two accounts are maintained by one and the same person. According to the singer, the person is out to damage his image.
