Mehmet Daimaguler isn’t sure if he’s really a good person. Under no circumstances does he want to be the protagonist of a heroic story: a model Turk, a successful lawyer, showered with awards and prizes. He became known nationwide as a representative of the private prosecutor in the NSU trial. For the 54-year-old, who made it from secondary school to the elite Harvard University, there is no such thing as an apolitical judiciary. “But finding justice in the courts shouldn’t depend on luck. It should go without saying.”
