Justice for Palestine: Protests in Brussels ahead of EU meeting with Israel and Palestine

Demonstrations “Justice for Palestine!” participants chanted slogans such as “Stop the genocide!”, “Israeli terrorist!” and “Freedom to Gaza!”.

Demonstrators also called for a boycott of Israeli goods.

The march ended in the quarter of the European Union (EU) institutions, and some protesters also chanted anti-EU slogans, accusing Brussels of inaction while watching civilians suffer in the Gaza Strip.

The demonstration was held ahead of a meeting of EU foreign ministers with their counterparts from Israel, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Jordan, as well as a representative of the Palestinian Authority, to discuss the war in the Gaza Strip.

First, the ministers of the 27 EU member states will meet with Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz, and then with the Palestinian Authority’s highest-ranking diplomat Riyad al-Maliki.

No meeting between Katz and Maliki is planned.

On October 7, in the massacre organized by the Palestinian terrorist group “Hamas” in Israel, the terrorists murdered about 1140 people, mostly civilians, and took about 250 hostages, who were taken to the Gaza Strip.

In response to the October 7 massacre, Israel expressed its determination to destroy “Hamas” and launched a large-scale military operation in the Gaza Strip.

Authorities in the terrorist-controlled Gaza Strip say at least 25,000 people have been killed in the fighting in the Gaza Strip, but these figures are believed to be greatly exaggerated given the disinformation so far spread by Hamas. In addition, a large number of those killed are fighters of Islamist groups.

It should also be noted that not all dead Palestinians are victims of Israeli fire. Missing rockets fired by terrorists at Israel kill many. There have also been reports of cases where militants open fire on civilians who do not want to submit to the terrorists’ demands and play the role of human shields.

According to Israeli reports, 132 hostages are still being held by terrorists in the Gaza Strip, although at least 27 of them may have been killed, according to AFP estimates.
