Justice determined because of Corona-Nazi comparison on Facebook

The Munich Public Prosecutor’s Office is investigating a Facebook post that compares the current Corona policy with the Nazi regime’s persecution of Jews. The accused is charged with incitement to hatred in accordance with Section 130 of the Criminal Code, as the Chief Public Prosecutor and spokesman Klaus Ruhland confirmed to the Evangelical Press Service (epd) on Monday evening. First, the “Süddeutsche Zeitung” reported on the case.

The accused, according to information from the newspaper, a 45-year-old from Munich, had posted a two-part picture, on the lower half of which the entrance to the Auschwitz concentration camp could be seen with the words “Work makes you free”, Ruhland described. Above it was a drawing with “Vaccination Makes You Free” and a row of black uniforms with syringes in their hands. Next to it the text: “Everything has been there before.” “Within a few days, this post was liked 52 times and commented on 26 times,” said the attorney general’s spokesman.

After the accused’s apartment was searched last Friday, the devices seized there, cell phones and laptops, are currently being evaluated, Ruhland told epd. The preliminary investigation continues, so that he cannot provide any further information at the moment.
