Just setting up my twttr – first tweet ever – sold for 2.5 million

The first message on Twitter ever raised 2.9 million dollars (almost 2.5 million euros) at a digital auction. A businessman in Malaysia bought the tweet from Twitter founder Jack Dorsey.

“Just setting up my twttrDorsey wrote on the platform on March 21, 2006. That message is now, fifteen years later, by means of a digital certificate official from Sina Estavi.

Dorsey has transferred the proceeds, $ 2,915,835.47, in bitcoins to an aid organization.
