“Fueling up with pizza after a killer workout” is the caption under the post. Basically, not an unusual setting for an influencer like Meis. But the post has been met with a lot of criticism.
The tenor of the critical comments is that the pictures are staged. “It’s just for the camera,” says one of Sylvie Meis’ followers with conviction. Another writes: “She doesn’t even believe that she’s actually eating the pizza.” Another adds: “With a body like that, she definitely doesn’t eat pizza.”

But among her 1.4 million followers, there are also many who defend Sylvie Meis. “No idea about workouts and calorie consumption. You can’t even imagine what athletes put into themselves,” explains one fan, while many others express their support for the presenter with numerous heart and flame emojis.
