The author of the AeroMobil concept, Štefan Klein, designed another flying AirCar car

The car has an unmissable appearance, but it can fully hide the wings under the body

The flying car has already made its first flight, and now it will probably be tested
Aspires Slovakia on earth flying cars? According to Štefan Klein’s projects, this is what it looks like. The designer already assembled in 2013 prototype AeroMobil, with which he crashed two years later. He escaped unharmed and apparently returned to work. The novelty is called AirCar and is created under the new company KleinVision in Nitra.
On official project website there is not much technical data yet. But it is clear from the presentation that flying machines are Klein’s passion. He has already created a number of concepts, but the last one has now reached the air. As the attached video shows, he apparently underwent his first flight as an experimental machine.
For flying cars, the biggest problem is to bring together strict technical standards for operation on public roads and in the air. The authors of the Dutch PAL-V Liberty project also talk about this, which we wrote about last week. It is already homologated for ground operation and now has to undergo 150 hours of air testing.
Klein’s flying car is interesting in that, although it is recognizable at first glance on the road, it can deftly hide its wings in the bowels of the body. Likewise, the tail is partially retracted to shorten the length of the car and thus improve its driving characteristics. It will definitely be interesting to see where the AirCar project moves. In the meantime, watch it on video.
