Nearly 1,000 doses of the Sputnik V vaccine had to be thrown away after the refrigerators at the state-owned clinic were removed to charge or charge cellphones.
The defective vaccine is part of a package containing 20,000 doses of the donated Sputnik V vaccine Russia to Kyrgyzstan.
