Weinstein, 70, was convicted of sexual misconduct in New York in February 2020. He was transferred from New York to a prison in Los Angeles in July 2021.
Weinstein has appealed his conviction and 23 years in prison in New York. Weinstein faces up to 140 years in prison if convicted for all purposes in Los Angeles.
