Jurrien Timber very happy to join Arsenal. Because his childhood dream has come true.
Timber has just made his move to the North London club official after being bought from ajax Amsterdamwith a tag of 40 million euros and a five-year contract.
Timber is Arsenal’s second signing of the summer after Kai Havertz from Chelsea. This transfer was also welcomed by the 22-year-old defender.

The reason is Arsenal was his favorite club as a child because he grew up watching Thierry Henry and Robin van Persie in uniform with The Gunners.
In addition, Arsenal’s playing style, which emphasized beautiful football during the Arsene Wenger era, made Timber fall in love even more.
“I’ve always been an Arsenal fan. It’s all because of my brothers. They are Arsenal fans, and I like seeing Arsenal’s playing style. They have top players, the way and style they play. I love this club very much,” said Timber on the website club official.
