In 1958, the artist Juris Zīle graduated from the Office of Space Decorators of the Riga Utilized Arts Substantial College (tag. Juris Zīle has also labored as a teacher – at Jūrmala Pioneer Residence (1958-1960), Bulduri Horticultural Complex College (tag. Bulduru Horticultural Large University), J. Rozentāls Art High Faculty (tag. PIKC NMV Jani Rozentālas Art School st. 1968-1969) and Latvian Academy of Arts.
Juris Zīle has been a member of the Union of Artists of Latvia considering that 1972 and tips for admission to the LMS artist were being issued by painters Nikolajs Petraškevičs (1909-1976), Edgars Bauze (1913-2006) and Bruno Aide (1913 -1994).
