Thanks to the trust of the voters, the Central Party has been able to contribute very strongly to the politics and development of Narva and Ida-Virumaa in general for many years. Unfortunately, we see that stability has been replaced by political games, which will definitely not benefit the city of Narva and its residents.
It was only in March that a member of the center party was elected as the chairman of Narva City Council Tatjana Stolfat and formed a coalition with mayor Katri Raiki’s faction, E200 and commissioners from the Center Party. Today, distrust awaits this association and a new coalition is forming, which also includes a member of the Center Party, but still another faction, which is Alexey Yevgrafov.
I completely agree with the chairman of the Narva region Tarmo Tammiste and vice-chairman Andrus Tamme, that the Center Party and members of the Center Party must be one team in order to be a strong and serious political force again and to ensure the well-being of city residents. We must work together as a political party to ensure that Narva has one Center Party and one faction of the Center Party in the city council. Only in this way can we achieve success in the next local government elections and only in this way can we work towards stable and successful city management. I believe that this is the Central Party’s duty to Narva.
