In the post-match press conference, boss The Reds Jurgen Klopp was informed that Man United were defeated by Newcastle 3-0, and he could not hide his surprise. He then could only say “Ooooh, okay” before making a grimace.

Commenting on the performance of his own team, Klopp said: “We should have scored more goals in the first half when the advantage was in our hands.”
