Jürgen Klopp Optimistic about Arne Slot as Potential Successor at Liverpool

Liverpool coach Jürgen Klopp spoke very optimistically at the press conference on Friday about his potential successor in Liverpool, Arne Slot. The German believes that the current Feyenoord coach would be a good trainer for Liverpool.

“If so, he will be a good choice. I like how he makes his team play.”

“In the past, other members of my staff have also stepped up. Now I’m not really asking for a favor, when you see the amounts being invested. I have full confidence that everything will turn out well,” said Slot. “I think that a very good offer has already been made by Liverpool.

Arne Slot on his possible move to Liverpool:

Klopp has not spoken to the Dutchman and says he does not know him personally. “But people say about him that he is a good person. I like that. A good trainer and a good person. If he is the solution and if I succeed, I am happy with that.”

Liverpool’s successful coach had few words for his colleague, but said that Slot is ending up at a club with ‘great people’. “It’s the best job in the world. A very interesting job too.”
