Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp disappointed after recovering from knee injury Luis Diaz is back in hospital with ill health.
The 25-year-old Colombian is forced to miss the club’s winter training camp in Dubai due to a new problem. After complaining of discomfort, Diaz was sent back to England for examination.
“This is a big disappointment for all of us. This is not the right situation. He complained of discomfort. The next day he was examined. It was a real punch in the face” Klopp said.
However, the coach shared positive news about Harvey Elliott, who was replaced at the start of Sunday’s friendly against Lyon. “Harvey was taken out before we scored. I think we are lucky. He feels good,” Klopp said.
