An old friend is back.
Jürgen Klinsmann brings reinforcements to the bench. Andreas Herzog will take a seat at his side with the South Korean national soccer team.
This was announced by “Sky” (Austria) on Wednesday evening. The former record national player in Austria is currently working as an expert on the TV station.
His last coaching position was with Admira Vienna, but he left the club after it was relegated from the Bundesliga.
The Werder legend has already gained experience with national teams. From 2018 to 2020 he was team boss at Israel.
He also shares a history with Jürgen Klinsmann. From 2011 to 2016 both sat together on the coaching bench of the US team.
So now the comeback of the power duo.
Herzog zu Sky: “I’m really looking forward to the exciting task and working with Jürgen Klinsmann again.”
