Head coach Jürgen Klinsmann and his assistant Andreas Herzog secured their second victory in a row with South Korea’s national soccer team.
In a test match, the “Taeguk Warriors” defeated Tunisia 4-0 (0-0) in the World Cup stadium in Seoul on Friday evening (local time). Tottenham captain and star striker Son Heung-min remained on the bench due to a groin injury.
The South Koreans beat Saudi Arabia 1-0 in Newcastle (England) in September. It was the first success under Klinsmann since he took up the job as Asian national coach a little over six months ago.
On Tuesday, South Korea will face Vietnam in another friendly match in Suwon. The World Cup qualification continues in mid-November.
