In February 2020, the recordings started for Jurassic World: Dominion and these had to be shut down again in March due to corona. In July the recordings continued and now four months later they are finally over.In conversation with Deadline said director Colin Trevorrow the following about the film. “There are a lot of emotions. I’m not sure I can put it into words. It was remarkable,” said Treverrow. “Our crew and cast were so resilient. All the producers worked really hard to make the most of it. It was inspiring.”
The director also revealed that the end of the film shows all known heads from the franchise. “Jurassic legacy stars Sam Neil, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum, Jurassic World stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard and newcomers like Mamoudou Athie and DeWanda Wise … and of course some dinosaurs,” said the director. It also became clear that 40,000 corona tests have taken place.

“Jurassic World: Dominion is done. All my thanks to our extraordinary crew and cast. We’ve become a family,” director Trevorrow said in his Twitter message about the completion of the shooting of his second Jurassic Worldfilm as a director. At the moment Dominion scheduled for June 2022.
