The footballers of the English club FC Watford, who collected only seven points in the opening eight of this season’s Premier League performances, received an unconventional way of motivation from their Italian helmsman Claudio Ranieri.
As the website of the diary Marc reports, the recent 70-year-old will invite his charges, including Slovak Juraj Kucka, to dinner after every clean bill they reach.
Former English national team defender Danny Rose came up with the idea. However, the Italian immediately agreed and noted that in the case of a clean account, the players would be provided with dinner in the club canteen.

Ranieri has a reputation for being a good motivator. In the 2015/2016 season, he unexpectedly led Leicester City footballers to the Premier League championship. He became the coach of Watford at the beginning of October, when he took the helm after the recalled Spaniard Xisco Muňoz.
Watford has never recorded a clean sheet in this season’s league duels and collected up to 15 goals. He lost to Liverpool 0: 5 last weekend at home.
