Get ready for some new rockets in March.
Up to three launchers that have never been to space could attempt to reach orbit next month.
Maybe Relativity Space, which is an American company The first to fly. Set for liftoff on March 8 from Cape Canaveral, Florida, the Terran 1 rocket is made mostly from 3D printing and uses liquid oxygen and liquid methane as propellant. The mission, which is called “GLHF,” for “good luck, have fun,” is for testing purposes and will not put a satellite into orbit. Relativity is building another fully reusable rocket and is teaming up with another company, Impulse Space, on a mission to beat Elon Musk’s SpaceX to Mars.
