Our cover photo gives it away: Juno has been kicked out of the App Store. The app was developed by Christian Selig, who is also behind Apollo for Reddit. Since YouTube doesn’t offer a native app for the Apple Vision Pro, he sat down and developed one. A few months ago, after reaching out to the developer, YouTube contacted the App Store to say that Juno was not following YouTube’s policies and changes the website in a way that you do not approve ofand alludes to trademarks and iconography. Juno, which doesn’t block ads on YouTube, is holding up according to the developer to all guidelines, but has now been removed from the App Store – perhaps Apple sees it the same way as YouTube. The developer doesn’t want to argue with Apple or YouTube. Anyone who has the app can use it as long as it works.
