Now officially, Júnior Moraes ends his time at Corinthians with just 21 matches played, only eight of them as a starter. Hired as a hope for goals in 2022, the player scored in just one opportunity.
The goal in question took place on May 11, 2022, for the Copa do Brasil. On the occasion, Timão faced Portuguesa, from Rio de Janeiro, at the Neo Química Arena, for the return game of the confrontation that ended with the classification alvinegra.
However, his trajectory with the alvinegro mantle was marked by several injuries. Júnior Moraes had six different diagnoses as a Corinthians player. Adding the days off due to injury, the striker spent about 198 days without playing.
