The renovation of the lower school building, a new parking lot at the school building and the 2021 budget met with approval from the SP.
Two proposals will be decided on November 29th at the Unterseener urn. The community meeting takes place on November 30th, where it is primarily about the community budget. The refurbishment of the lower school building, which was built in 1974, was passed to a referendum. Despite the good structure of the building, a comprehensive renovation of the building is necessary. It is about the building envelope and technology, security and fire protection, as well as a redesign of the classrooms in order to adapt to changed forms of teaching.
According to the slogan version, the SP Unterseen welcomes the proposal “as an investment in the future of education” and unanimously approves the loan of almost ten million francs. The SP also says yes to the two million loan for the planned conversion of the vacant, former medical aid station into an underground parking lot. «The 36 parking spaces serve the needs of the school. This frees up the area in front of the middle school building and makes it available as a break. ” The local party suggests that the new, non-public car park be made available to clubs and other organizations outside of school hours.
The SP also approves the community budget for 2021, which, if the tax system remains unchanged, expects a deficit of 680,608 francs.
