On Monday, April 12th, the last stage of the village core renovation began. According to a communication from the municipality, this includes the following sections:

• Pavement access to the market square
• Rehabilitation of the confluence of Aegertenstrasse and Hohliebestrasse
• Paving sidewalk in the area of ​​the municipal administration
• Paving and renovation of the pavement, church access to the Pfrundmatte driveway
• Renovation of the road surface Aegertenstrasse junction to the Pfrundmatte approach The work should be completed by the beginning of the summer season.

Weissenbergstrasse and Gutenbrunnenstrasse in the Gütsch area

The road will be rehabilitated on the Gütsch – Bleikenstafel section. The required credit was approved on the occasion of the ballot box on January 31 and the necessary building permit was granted by the governor, as it is said. The canton has guaranteed contributions. The start of construction was set for April 19th. The work should be completed by May 21st at the latest. So that work can be carried out efficiently and the schedule can be adhered to, the road should be closed where there are bypasses. For the Gutenbrunnenstrasse section, where a bypass is not possible, the road will be closed between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. During the paving work, the road must be closed all day. According to the municipality, details on the closures and the construction process will be posted on the roadside on the Gütsch from the start of the construction site.

Gutenbrunnenstrasse section Pletschen-Chäli

The road will be rehabilitated on the Pletschen-Chäli section. The road superstructure will be stabilized and then a surface covering will be installed. Disabilities and closures are inevitable. During the pavement milling work and later also during the paving work, the road must be completely closed. Details on the closures and the construction process will be posted on the roadside at the beginning of the construction site and published in advance, the message continues. The work should be carried out in the fall. In the Lee area, pipeline renovations are planned this year. The section Äusserer Seitenbach – Lee will probably be rehabilitated in the coming year after the pipe renovation.

Rawilstrasse section Lischmattenstrasse – Krummenbach

The renovation in the village center is about to be completed. On the Rawilstrasse, section Hohliebestrasse – Lischmattenstrasse, a simple pavement renovation was carried out three years ago. This year it is planned to renovate Rawilstrasse including the sidewalk on the Lischmattenstrasse – Krummenbach section. The renovation includes the replacement of the superstructure (fine level and surface), drainage and the edge closure. The work should be carried out in the months of May and June.

Schanzenstrasse section Kindergarten – connection Bühlbergstrasse

The loan for the renovation of Schanzenstrasse and the construction of the supply and disposal lines was approved by the municipal assembly in 2013. Except for the road renovation of the kindergarten section – connection to Bühlbergstrasse, the work has been carried out. The last renovation work is to be carried out this year. Details on the construction process will be published as soon as the start of construction is known.

Aegertenstrasse section Gässli – Wallbachbrücke

As the municipality further writes, the loan has been approved and the municipal assembly has approved the building regulations (UeO) with a building application. The approval of the UeO and the approval of the building application by the Office for Municipalities and Spatial Planning of the Canton of Bern are still pending. Since the permit is expected in summer, work can begin in August. Details on the construction process will be published before construction begins.

Rehabilitation of further stretches of road

In the course of the year, other stretches of road are also to be rehabilitated. These are smaller and larger renovations. Mention should be made of the street sections of Klöpflisbergstrasse, Oberriedstrasse, Pöschenriedstrasse, Sagistrasse and other, unnamed streets. Since the tenders have not yet been completed and the work has not yet been awarded, the dates will only be announced at a later point in time.
