On 12 March, three models will be voted on in the city of Bern. The voters decide on the loans for the infrastructure of the Viererfeld, the renovation of the outdoor swimming pool Wyler and the overall renovation of the Nydeggbrücke, the city council announced on Friday.

The development of the new urban district of Viererfeld/Mittelfeld involves an expenditure of 124.6 million Swiss francs. The money will be used to build roads, a public park and other infrastructure. The electorate will then decide on the attribution of building rights.
The planned renovation of Bern’s Nydeggbrücke will cost 27.6 million Swiss francs. Built in 1844, the structure features weathered sandstone blocks, warped pavement, and crumbling plumbing. The third loan of CHF 11 million concerns the renovation of the Wyler outdoor swimming pool. There, leaky pools need to be repaired and water treatment modernized.
