From May 11th to 15th, the Tanzfest Thun will take place for the third time under this year’s motto “Together”. With a rich and varied program for all young and old, to watch and participate.

The motto of this year’s national dance festival is “Together”, write the organizers in their announcement. Watch dance together in Thun, dance together and go on a dance tour together.
Artistic – festive – cross-generational
The Ballet Junior de Genève in the KKThun addresses the issue of dealing with power, two nationally selected dance groups stop at Aarefeldplatz, the Rex cinema shows the film portrait “Trixie” of a 78-year-old dancer. The cross-generational dance party with the band Klischée takes place in the Mokka, and the famous dance walk takes place again, in which 26 regional dancers take part this year. You can immerse yourself in the program of the regional dance schools both as an audience and as a participant.

After all, the theaters were closed for a long time. The dance took place behind closed doors or not at all. That’s why we’re celebrating the dance among us this year. The dancers and dance schools show themselves outside in public space, on theater stages, in the cinema, and the studios are opened so that people can dance themselves.
