The 15-year-old left home on May 17, leaving a message on social networks about his intention to commit suicide.
The Fastovschina police immediately began searching for him, including aerial reconnaissance and cyber police.
Law enforcement officers found out that Denis Rodikov threw out his outerwear on the way to Kiev in the village of Kalinovka «for disguise “.
Later it turned out that in Kiev, Denis Rodikov jumped from a bridge onto a concrete sidewalk and was hospitalized in serious condition.
On May 18, at about 6 am, he died.
On this fact, the police are investigating criminal proceedings under Art. 120 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – Driving to suicide.
Spouses Vladimir and Diana Rodikovs, who raised 13 children in a family-type orphanage in the Kiev region, were admitted to the Vasilkovsky central district hospital in March due to complications caused by the coronavirus.
Vladimir Rodikov died on March 20. Diana Rodikova, in critical condition, was transferred to the intensive care unit of the Alexander Clinical Hospital in Kiev, where she also died on March 29.
The children were then sent to the Kiev Regional Children’s Hospital, and then transferred to the Kiev Regional Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation of Children Sezenkov.
After the outbreak of the war in Donbass in 2014, the Rodikov family moved to the Kiev region. The Rodikovs established a family-type orphanage in the village of Lipovy Skitok in the Vasilkovsky district.
Vladimir and Diana Rodikov raised 13 children – five relatives and eight adopted. Two children have already reached the age of majority. Diana Rodikova received the honorary title of Mother Heroine.
