It was a slow start at Skytteholm, when Vasalund took on Värnamo. Only after the break did the shooter start. Then it was table jumbo Vasalund who took the lead.
After 70 minutes, a mistake by the home side’s left defense allowed Adam Id Salem to get through. He then hit a clever post to Nikola Vasic, who was able to poke it right next to the goalkeeper.
However, the joy did not last too long for Vasalund. Less than ten minutes later, Värnamo equalized, on a corner. Placed at the post, he could nod the ball into goal.
Despite attempts, neither team was able to take the lead in the match, it ended 1-1 and the team had to share the points. A good result for Vasalund, who now has two points up to negative qualifying place and four up to safe ground. Värnamo is still in a safe league lead, with four points down to GIF Sundsvall.
