In the same way, the 994 pediatric asthmatic patients from two years to five, 11 months and 29 days will be attended.
Hernández Baullosa explained that having a common cold at the time of vaccination is not an impediment; However, it is a contraindication to have other morbidity such as a history of allergy to the components of the vaccine, being under antibiotic treatment or having feverish signs, among others.
¨It is of vital importance that the entire pediatric population attend their polyclinics or authorized peripheral vaccination centers, since this campaign is a positive response for those who are at greater risk of presenting serious complications due to influenza, while it provides protection against four types different from Influenza A and two viruses from Influenza B¨, said the Nursing graduate.
It was also learned that the immunogen will later be extended to pregnant women, adults over 85 years of age, patients with chronic diseases, diabetics between 19 and 24 years of age, asthmatics, patients in psychiatric hospitals and grandparents’ homes, as well as poultry farm workers. and swine.
