Julión Álvarez is a Mexican regional music singer who has lived through very difficult times; the most recent has to do with a money laundering indictment that the United States Department of the Treasury issued against him. But during an interview with Yordi Rosado, the Chiapas-born spoke of another complicated situation that he had to face: his life before fame, where he did everything to get ahead.

I worked everything. In Chiapas, when I went to high school, I started living in a friend’s house: it was an optician. There I used to shake the furniture, sweep and mop from 2 to 4, when the store closed to eat, “said the interpreter of” Terrenal. ”

“It was the optics, the workshop where the lenses were made and it was the cleaning in exchange for food and lodging. Go make deliveries, that was my pull, “he added.

After that job, Álvarez moved to a house that an uncle lent him and, at night, with his friends, “We washed water tanks, cisterns and trucks on the route“.

“Then I arrived in Mazatlán and very close, half a block where I lived, I had no radio or television and I would go to the taqueria and watch TV; When I came for the tacos, I stayed to watch TV. Later, my partner Manuel, the one with the tacos, told me: ‘When you don’t bring, there’s no fart,’ “the singer revealed.

Julión pointed out that one day, during carnival time, his taco friend had many people at the stand, “and I told him: ‘I’ll help you’ and me puse a meserear. And he told me: ‘I don’t understand you, go to Wash dishes‘. And from there I would come for safe dinner. ”

Later, the famous revealed that his arrival in Mazatlán was thanks to the Banda El Recodo, whom he met during one of his tours to Chiapas; Right there they invited him to go with them to the north of the country to fulfill his dream of being a singer.
