The municipalities of San Adrián (Navarra) and Llerena (Badajoz) have faced each other this Monday in the seventh and last program of the regular phase of the Grand Prix 2024. Julio Iglesias Jr. falls into the hot potato
As usual, the Hot Potato has been one of the most entertaining tests of the night. Mainly because the members of both teams face a situation of maximum tension while holding a giant potato that never stops growing with the aim of exploding in their faces. A tension that leads the guests to not think as lucidly as they are supposed to and that it costs them more than usual to come up with certain answers. Hence some, like Julio Iglesias Jr., had more trouble than usual guessing the number with which Michael Jordan returned to basketball after his first season.
After trying out several numbers, as he returned to number 45 despite the fact that he is historically associated with number 23 due to his time with the Chicago Bulls, Julio Iglesias Jr. passed the question to the mayor of San Adrián so that she could face a new question from Ramón García. This time, it was about the total number of versions of ‘The Scream’ painted by its author Edvard Munch. Given that she had only painted four, the truth is that Marta Ezquerra did not take long to find the answer.

In this way, the bubble was once again in the hands of Julio Iglesias Jr., who had to guess how many doors the White House had. And the singer fell short on his first attempt, as he assured that it would only have about 20 doors or so. As the bubble grew, the artist continued adding doors with the aim of finding the answer. Meanwhile, Ramón García shared with the audience that Julio Iglesias Sr. had been inside this building: “Your father has been here!” Ramón encouraged him as he answered.
After saying a ton of numbers, the potato ends up exploding in his face in front of Ramón García, who took advantage of the situation to bring up one of his father’s most iconic memes: “I have to tell you that there were more doors… and you know it.” All of this to finally explain to him that the correct answer was 412 doors.
