Julio César Rodríguez made a bad joke Karen Doggenweiler about his animation of the Viña del Mar Festival 2025 at the Cordillera Awards 2024.
The event rewards the best of Chilean television and many national celebrities attended the event. Julio César Rodríguez had to be one of the animators. During the ceremony he performed a monologue, where he made the attendees laugh with jokes.

Karen Doggenweiler and Rafael Aranda are the animators of the Viña 2025 Festival.
In Julio César Rodríguez’s monologue he touched many well-known public figures, such as Rodolfo Carter, among many others, including Karen Doggenweiler, related to her husband, Marco Enríquez-Ominami.
“There’s Karen, who is going to finally animate the Viña del Mar Festival. I’m sure she’s going to dominate the monster very well, because he has a lot of experience taming your husband’s monsterwho has always supported you so much, a round of applause for Karen,” said the communicator.
The joke generated laughter and applause from all attendees. However, there were some who reacted with surprise upon hearing the practical joke that the Chilevisión host gave to the communicator who is the face of Mega.
